Meet Dr. Lugo

Heritage Dental is proud to welcome Dr. Jose Lugo, DDS, a highly experienced and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing top-quality dental care. With over 30 years of experience in private practice, military service, and teaching, Dr. Lugo is committed to creating healthy, beautiful smiles and building lasting relationships with his patients based on trust and excellence.

Dr. Lugo earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry and went on to serve as a Commander in the United States Navy Reserve, Dental Corps. His passion for education led him to become an Associate Professor at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine, where he has trained future dentists to provide exceptional patient care.

As a member of professional organizations such as the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States, the International Association for Orthodontics, and the American Dental Association, Dr. Lugo stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Lugo enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to new places, hiking, reading, golfing, and cooking. His well-rounded expertise and friendly approach make him a valuable addition to the Heritage Dental team.
