Invisalign® has proven to be effective in both clinical research and in practices nationwide. Over a quarter million people are already smiling more thanks to Invisalign®. You can brush and floss normally, which can help prevent tooth decay and gum disease . Some orthodontic appliances, like braces, can cause gingivitis (usually reversible once the braces are removed). Research has shown that periodontal tissue health may improve with use of Invisalign® Aligners during your orthodontic treatment. Because the Aligners are removable you don’t have to worry about what you eat.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a serious chronic breathing disorder caused by a narrowing or total closure of the airway. When you have OSA, the airway becomes partially or completely blocked and your breathing can be interrupted for periods of time lasting from 10 seconds to over a minute in severe cases. Even worse, a patient may stop breathing hundreds of times each night! Snoring and nighttime gasps for air are indications that Sleep Apnea may be taking place. Snoring is no longer something to joke about.
